Nano-H products
Nanohybrid chemistry for tomorrow's applications
The specific products that Nano-H proposes are defined by hybrid nanoparticles composed of inorganic beads of adaptable size and surface, with their own functionality, functionalized by organic molecules like fluorophores or biomolecules.
The multiple and complementary properties of these nano-hybrids: optical, magnetic, radio-active and neutrophages, make them a veritable polyfunctional tool that can be used, with significantly improved performance, in many sectors of industry and nanotechnology.
These nano-hybrids make it possible to offer to the biological analysis market very high sensitivity probes capable of pushing back the current detection thresholds. They are also new contrast agents for the medical imaging industry and possible therapeutic nanoparticles capable of penetrating the cancer treatment market. Finally, we propose through this approach a new generation of tracers in the field of tracking and anti-counterfeiting.
Nano-H uses patented production processes and innovative colloidal chemistry technologies allowing access to a wide range of nanoparticles whose sizes (between 2 and 500 nm) and compositions are easily adaptable.
The nanoparticles produced by Nano-H are defined according to four highly flexible technical specificities :
-
the compositions: three families are accessible: oxides (SiO2, TiO2, ZrO2, Fe2O3, Ln2O3 (Ln=Y, Gd, Eu, Tb, Yb, Nd, Sm, Dy, Ho, Er, Ce, Pr)), metallic (Au, Ag, Pd, Cu, Ni...), semiconductors (quantum dots: CdSe) and finally polymeric compounds functionalized by metallic chelants, in particular around DOTAs.
-
hybrid functions: - inorganic (protective "glass" layer of adaptable thickness),
- luminescent (fluoresceins, rhodamines, cyanines, Alexa®...),
- biological (oligonucleotides, streptavidin, biotin...),
-
sizes: the range is between 2 and 500 nm in hydrodynamic diameter, customizable by modifying the core of the nanoparticles and/or the thickness of the protective layer
-
surfaces: specific grafted groups on the surface: hydrophilic or hydrophobic, polymerizable and/or stabilizing chains, contribution of positive or negative charges...
